Flare installation equipped with a head with a remote control and ignition system (OFSKR)

Description of smokeless high and low pressure flare

The gas is fed through the branch pipes in the form of separate gas jets, each of which is located behind the corresponding angle stabilizer and develops along its axis.
The axes of the branch pipes and the axis of the angle stabilizers are parallel.
Air enters the combustion zone through radial slots between the corner stabilizers, causing each of them to form a vortex circulation zone.
Gas streams fed to these zones, instantly mixing with air, form a homogeneous combustible mixture. This ensures smokeless combustion.
The jet-type nozzles are equipped with a gas seal that prevents air from entering the flare pipe at a blowing (gas) gas velocity of at least 0.05 m / s.

Advantages of the OFSCR

The standby burner stably burns and allows ignition of flammable gas, including ballasted (up to 75% N2 or CO2), in any weather, because the combustible mixture (fuel gas and air) is prepared in the safety unit and does not require additional air for it burning. Flame monitoring is based on monitoring the differential pressure in the main engine  before and after its ignition. Differential pressure is monitored by the differential pressure switch in the safety unit through the pipeline of the fuel mixture and does not require the laying of cable products inside the lining and along the flare shaft to the exhaust gas.
In the constructions of flare heads new heat-resistant materials are used to improve durability, incl. imported, the aerodynamics of the flow part was improved in aerators and streamlined jets were used; in the shut-off and regulating block designs, modern shut-off and control valves were used in explosion-proof design with low hydraulic resistance; control and control panel in explosion-proof and climate-proof design; logic part of remote ignition and control transferred from the local control panel to the control and monitoring board,
installed in the operator room with the possibility of attaching to a wall or installing it in existing panels.
The use of the combustion stabilizer allows to burn uninterruptedly oiled gas that has been ballasted to 75% without breakdowns. The top part of the head is fitted with a protective cover. In this case, the flame can act on one of the surface parts of the mouth of the head and the protective casing, and other surfaces of these parts at this time are cooled by ambient air. This led to a significant increase in the service life of the head (10 years).
At the request of the customer, the autonomous mobile unit BRAP-12/5 is additionally supplied with an accumulator battery and allows ignition of the burners on standby in the absence of power supply ~ 220 V or for the period of failure of the standard monitoring and ignition means.
